We tried turning off so many functions in Kaspersky though, that I am most suspicious that it's a Windows issue.Īre there any Flickr staff here who can investigate? This is so frustrating and I - like many others, I'm sure - am getting so far behind with all my photo uploading. So I believe that has ruled out our ISP as the culprit - so the problem must lie with either Windows (I'm on 10) or Kaspersky. He uploaded all four files first time with no problem at all. He is running Linux, so doesn't have any additional virus protection. I then sent him the four files I was trying to upload, and he tried from his laptop (on my Flickr account), to rule out the possibility of the problem lying with our ISP. Absolutely nothing worked - everything timed out and failed to upload. Update: My husband tried all sorts of things on my laptop last night - turning off the Kaspersky firewall and turning the Windows one on instead, using Firefox, etc etc etc (lots more things I can't remember now). Was fine for a while but now I'm having to pause Kaspersky again too. Update: I've just "pause protection" in Kaspersky (KIS) & found it's fixed the issue. Is Flickr doing anything to fix time out error. The old browser still works ok but it's very slow and you can only upload 6 photos at a time. I've had the same problem for weeks on end. Thanks for that kanuay: - I will check it out :) At least, I have not seen that stupid "bad panda" lately. Still cannot upload, so I am replacing old overcooked photos. Dont know how to fix it and hope flickr will fix the problem soon. I am having same issue for a month now.I use firefox as my browser. As a paying member, I would expect to have this bug fixed soon! I am using Firefox and have Never had any issues. Still getting the same error "failure to upload", "this photo failed to load" etc. Started over a week ago and after being gone for a week, I tried to upload today. With a basic (free) account, we can upload to Flickr up to 500 photos & 10 videos per month. Last night I found "PicBackMan" and it uploaded to Flickr very well. The old uploader still works for me, but I've got so many photos to add it's just too slow and clunky.Ĭan anyone suggest any other workarounds? Or can flickr PLEASE look into this issue?! Around a week ago and for a long time before, I was uploading merrily. I'm on my laptop with Windows 10, using the new uploadr in Chrome (but also had the same problem when I tried Microsoft Edge), and I'm with plusnet. I have been having upload problems for the past week - files constantly time out and fail to upload, no matter how many times I hit 'Retry.' I don't have pro account so haven't test with official Flickr Uploadr. No issue with other uploaders such as official iOS app, Lightroom (Win), PicBackMan, etc. I have the same issue with both old & new "web uploader" (Tested with Chrome & Fifefox on Win10) I have not been able to upload for over a week. I dont know if Flickr is taking it seriously.

The problem of appearing/hiding of the previous photo ("Tile") is also disappeared. I've just uploaded this photo again ("Yellow") and all is ok now. It seems to be that it was a local Flickr bug.
